Independence Day

Independence Day, also known as the 4th of July, is the most important day in our nation's history. It signifies when our country adopted the Declaration of Independence to proclaim independence from Great Britain. The 4th of July is usually filled with parties, parades, and celebrations, and is most famously known for all the fireworks. There are many firework shows put on display around this time organized by a town for all people to enjoy or just a family gathering. These fireworks will illuminate the skies for the entire night. The great thing about this day is that it unites us as a nation. We are constantly torn apart in our country nowadays by things such as politics, but the 4th of July is a day where all Americans can come together to celebrate the foundation of our nation.
