Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is coming up on Thursday, the 27th. If you love stuffing your face with delicious food, this is something you probably look forward to every single year. From the cranberry sauce to the stuffing to the mac’n’cheese to the turkey and gravy to the apple or pumpkin pie and everything else that people eat on this annual day, it is all so delicious! But Thanksgiving is about more than just eating food.
Giving Back
This time of year is the most important for giving back to those in need. Even just a small canned contribution can be very special for someone who needs it. It is very easy to find an organization or local group that is collecting donations so if you can, definitely show them some support.
Tips
These are things you should and should not do on Thanksgiving. DO NOT waste food. Somebody put a lot of effort into what you eat on Thanksgiving so don’t waste it. DO NOT starve yourself beforehand. You might think this will let you eat more but this could actually cause you to get sick and even eat less. DO thank whoever made you the food you are eating. DO take some leftovers if there are some. P.S. If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving you can relax and enjoy the weekend or you can still donate and volunteer for a good cause.
