Only Time Will Tell

Every year, towards the end of January there comes a time that sends high school students stressing. It is the time to make decisions for your next school year. Will this be worth it? Will I regret my choices? Only time will tell…

This time is course selection. 

Students get one week to decide what classes they want to take for the next year. Maybe "want" isn’t the right word. I know some of the classes I sign up for are not exactly classes I want to take, but classes that are required, or that I feel like I need to take. 

I find myself questioning throughout this time whether my next year self will despise my current self for picking these classes. Will she thank me? I have no idea. 

What I do know, however, is that no matter what classes I decide to take, like it has always been in the past throughout my course selection years, everything will turn out okay. I will succeed and learn in more ways than I could’ve ever imagined picking these classes. Afterall, only time will tell.
