Stressed?

Do you find yourself often struggling with stress? Maybe it’s because of school or because of a sport? There's a multitude of reasons why we as teenagers can be stressed out. 

Instead of overworking yourself through the stress and burning out, listen to this. 

I am a student who takes on a lot. Constantly. It gets overbearing sometimes and when everything piles up I feel incredibly stressed out. Now, how do I deal with my stress and keep on persevering? Here are my tips:

The first thing to note is that everyone deals with stress and feels it at different levels. Never feel like you are alone. 

Now for 3 things you can do physically…

  • Make a checklist with the most important tasks you need to complete at the top.
  • Take breaks to retain information better, increase attention span, and motivation. 
  • Have a special treat at the end such as watching a movie or getting ice cream.

Remember, managing your stress will only lead to success. You got this.
