School Life Hacks for Teens
Parker G., 10th Grade
If you want to be successful in middle school or high school, you’re gonna need some organization skills and life hacks. In this blog, I will share a couple of my tips and ideas to be successful:
To Do List
I keep a To Do List in a doc with all my classes in a table. I add a note for any work I have to complete and take it away whenever it's completed. This helps me organize all the work for my classes. I’m in 8 classes right now so I usually forget when I have work, so this is very helpful for me. It is also easily accessible by naming the doc “To Do List,” so whenever you need you can tap the search button and search the name and it will pop right up.
Bookmarked Sites
I bookmark my most used and important websites so I can quickly get to them without having to search at all. For me this includes Gmail, PowerSchool, Docs, Slides, College Board, and more! I also have a bookmarked folder which contains every single one of my classes to save a little bit of time. I know it only saves 5-10 seconds but doing it dozens times a day for hundreds of days in a row adds up quickly.
Hopefully you might like one or both of these tips to help you function at school, but I recognize everybody has different methods of what is best for them so feel free to leave a comment of your favorite school success tip!
